august '18: recap #1

See this content in the original post

The first recap coming during sunny August begins and ends with the sweet portuguese accent coming from Brazil. Marcos Valle extensive carreer is honored and followed by the usual summary of artists we've showcased here during this month. It ends with an homage to "Gosto Aborrecido" from Paulo Diniz, reinvented by Drips Zacheer - his album Things To Do In Zero Gravity is a trip trough an endless universe of music.

Through this eclectic 18-track playlist (in progress during August), you can also find some classics: "Transcend Me" from Afronaught, a classic of broken beat rhythms; "Oh Honey" from Delegation, a classic of soul rhythms. Other decades. Other rhythms. Classics.

We end with our focus on two fresh songs: Yakul's "Realigned" is remixed by a special english hip hop producer and rapper that goes around the world with two different names; and "Call It Love", the first single from Uhuru, the forthcoming debut album by Summers Sons & C. Tappin from London and Bristol. Cool bap beats for y'all.
