Born out of the Polish jazz EABS collective, Błoto is a jazz / instrumental hip hop quartet debuting via Astigmatic Records with their project entitled Erozje. Deeply rooted in brutal hip hop grooves and loosely inspired by the sound of the ‘90s, their music is somehow dirty and uncompromising, flying through the rawness of its drums and bass.

After playing a couple of shows the experience brought by the band was requested in a recording, causing Erozje’s first vinyl press to be sold out in 24 hours. The album aims to capture the atmosphere of the time in which it was created. Times of distinct social divisions, hate speech, growing nationalism in the Polish society. The result is evident - a bold jazz album played by some of the country’s most talented musicians. A second and third vinyl pressing and a CD version is on the way. Let Erozje play.
