Camões is one of Brazil’s most exciting new acts and during the month of August released a warm-textured record of five tracks via MangoMusik. A Noite Dá, Mas Tira (Lado A) follows Flôres (2018) and DRINK CLUB (2020), cementing the carioca singer and composer style of nostalgia inspired in 80’s pop music but also exploring drum & beat and garage influences from the 90’s.

In A Noite Dá, Mas Tira (Lado A), as the title indicates, Camões delves into the conflicting feelings of nightlife experiences. Together with five featured guest artists (one per each track), he tells stories of the fantasies that the night offers in contrast to the melancholy of hangover days. Available via Bandcamp, this record will introduce some listeners to Camões previous works and his sonic versatility.
