Error is a crucial part of art and life, and that concept pervades the second conceptual album of Colombian master Felipe Gordon. During late 2022 and beginning of 2023, the musician and producer worked on this new long play in his home studio “El Dorado” in Bogotá, Colombia. Released by Wide Awake in collaboration with Clone Records, this is a new channel for the Colombian to create a more independent environment for his releases. Errare Humanum Est is the title of the first project, as Gordon delves into some of his influences and forgotten musical influences, going from breakbeats, synthesis, boom bap, deep acid and house music.

Composed by 11 tracks, Errare Humanum Est is a melting pot of musical ideas. As per usual Gordon’s work doesn’t try to achieve dancefloor fillers, but more of a listening experience that can take you to wherever you want to go with it - from chilling with friends, stomping your feet or every day musical enjoyment. Like few in the independent music realm, he’s able to achieve it - delivering uncompromising eclectic gems. Soon available in digital formats, Errare Humanum Est will drop on vinyl more towards the end of the year. A must have from one of our favorite producers, dropping via his new platform for his constant output.
