Fred Aster has been cementing his name in the underground deep house & electronic eclectic scene via his own, and acclaimed, production work, radio host duties and by leading one of the best African labels within the genre, Blur Records - an Angolan electronic music label established in 2018 that spinned-off from signature events showcasing an array of international artists.

A few days ago we reached out to Fred offering our humble Guest MIX space for this month. His receptiveness was immediate and it’s really a pleasure to have him as the host of our 19th feature. Breathing and exhaling the best of jazzy, melodic and groovy house textures, he presents a hour of pure class. The selection is beyond fantastic, approaching the sounds of loads of talented producers that have releasing diamonds to nurture us.
