David Moreira is a historian and part-time record spinner based in Porto. He’s also one of those guys we are always happy to see at the city’s best music parties - either behind the decks or vibin’ in the dancefloor. We reached him for this month’s Guest MIX, sure that he would be truthful to his musical culture, presenting unconventional deep music to explore further.

He takes us into his one-hour selection, entitled Petrol Blue to represent the vibe it comes with. Moreira spins some of his high-karat gold records and delivers a vinyl-only trip deep into the rhythm. On the way he reminds us of mind-blowing productions by Levon Vincent, Sascha Dive, JT Donaldson, Gene Hunt or Kerri Chandler, while introducing us to new waves worthy of future explorations (that’s one of our secret goals). As deep as it gets, Petrol Blue is our vibe for tonight.
