Jazzvolution is a series of instrumental compilations which explore the deep connections between hip hop and jazz. Each compilation focuses on the progression of the art of beatmaking. The Chapter Two of the series arrives 5 years after the first one, featuring a well selected cast of talents like Amerigo Gazaway, L’Orange, Propo’88, Medline, Cosmic Analog Ensemble, Surreal, Shin-Ski and others on the boards.

In the second chapter the beats are once again rooted in the hip hop’s golden era, when producers recontextualized sounds by way of sampling. The ultimate project vision is to present an exploration of the boundaries of hip hop beats, showcasing the idea that beatmaking is an evolution of jazz foundations.

Following the Chapter One, which dropped in late 2013, The Find Magazine is once again in charge for the release of this avant-garde instrumental compilation, serving as high-standard stage for some of their favorite artists. The record is now available through a collaboration with HHV in a limited edition of 300 vinyls.
