Karmasound is a name that came to our attention in late 2018. One year ago, in January he was making his debut outing on wax with the six-track strong Probabilidades EP, through Phuture Shock Musik. Hailing from Buenos Aires, though currently residing in Barcelona, Damián Botigué - aka Karmasound - prepares to drop Can See Thru You EP, again with the seal of Phuture Shock Musik. The 4 track EP has two original track and two remixes as he steps into a collaborative mode and calls up on the smoky vocal talents of upcoming singer-songwriter Jedreck. Together they present a jazzy, late-night bruk affair with a range of influences that includes neo soul, latin jazz, Detroit house and broken beat.

In addition to the lead track, the release also features two inspired remixes by Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe, that give a totally different - and danceable - nuance to the “Can See Thru You” single. “Another Way” tops off the disc, feeling kind of a bonus, now that we are exploring further the vibes from Karmasound. Expectations for future releases are high. Can See Thru You EP drops tomorrow and will be available in a limited vinyl edition. It is another sweet night romance that we’re currently falling to.
