“I think therefore I jam”. Cogito Ergo Jam, released by Social Joy, is the first LP from the Natural Lateral quintet, drawing inspirations from jazz, through electronic, with deep grooves and mesmerizing psych-synth melodies. The energy contained in the 6 tracks that compose the album is almost palpable, fusing rhythmic elements from funk & latin jazz to syncopated odd meter timings harmoniously.

Born organically out of endless and spontaneous jam sessions at the Lazy Robot Studio in North London, the open-minded spirit of the five elements makes Cogito Ergo Jam a crossroad between strands of different musical forms and roots. With the band's love for jazz massively influencing every aspect of the album, their open-minded spirit keeps them engaged in other creative fields, venturing into new territories throughout this trip.
