Paying homage to the legendary Easy Street label’s hall of fame, WOLF Music returns with the second volume of its invaluable Nothing Is Lost series. The EP, that cherry picks some of the greatest dub mixes from the label, is dubbed out by Paul Simpson on the A side and Blaze on the flip side, each retouching and remastering two high karat gold house tracks.

Firstly, Sleeque’s sumptuous “One For The Money”, gets a tougher makeover with Simpson’s classic touches to the drums, while Paradise Girl’s “Holding Back” sees him focusing on that peach of a bassline. Blaze carries on with the masterclass. “Let The Music Take You”, by Alexander Hope, gets a true remix treatment from Klub Head – a further alias that Hope and Blaze held -, while the super soulful “Underground” is met with sweet sax licks adding to Josh Milan’s exquisite and iconic vocals. Perfect night groovers. Perfect beachside rollers. You choose, Nothing Is Lost. WOLF Music strikes gold again. Available in vinyl.
