Pinaud is a self taught multi-instrumentalist hailing from Rio de Janeiro. Following the debutTelephunk, which was released by Baphyphyna Records back in 2018, he has the honor of curating the first record coming out via the newly created Mondo Dingo Records - led by the great musical knowledge of Ben Men and Rob Malone, promising to be a purveyor of all sounds that go deep. Afrojazz EP is a lush and soulful project, filled with smoothness, warmness and swing. Comprised by two originals and two remixes of the title-track by Parisian based Peter Raw and the Raw Analog Funk band (Ben Men and Rob Malone), the EP is dedicated to the "cidade maravilhosa” that is Rio.

Pinaud is a well-established musician and DJ in South-America, providing a very clear trademark in everything he does: intense grooves, deep basslines, lightness of touch. His mixture of organic sound, house music and generous doses of soul and 70’s disco sounds has taken him to events and clubs all over Latin America and labels like Manga Rosa and Barco do Amor. Now he steps further in his musical output, with a record that conveys a live sound and a real spiritual expressiveness that leaves us feeling uplifted.
