La Mano is Simulator Jones’ sophomore LP released by Oslo-based Mutual Intentions, adding yet another record to their diverse catalog. Following the 2018 Exotic Worlds and Masterful Treasures, via Stones Throw Records, Jones explores in this record the variety of approaches and musical possibilities contained in his hands, crossing jazz, soul music, surf rock, blues, hip hop… all coming from one talented mind.

Composing most of the tracks in the album and playing an arsenal of physical instruments, Stimulator Jones’ virtuosity is evident as he moves between keys, guitars, drums and wind instruments. Organic and synthetic sounds shine in harmony, as La Mano travels from Kingston’s bustling yards to serene Parisienne walkways.
