TAKT Recordings just dropped one of the best compilations for this summer. Various Artists is comprised by 7 tracks, blending house, jazz, and edits approach into a delightful musical concoction. Discomatix, Scruscru, Leiba, Classonix, Akrill, Pasha S and Whitley Tlee make up a dream team of talent, coming together to create magnetic waves of groove.

First, there’s the exceptional jazz work by Discomatix, featuring a stellar ensemble of musicians including Konstantin Guryanov on piano, Alexander Raskhozhev on saxophone, Ivan Malov on trumpet, Maxim Rybakov on bass, Igor Ionov on drums, and Yuri Balanov on scratching. The result is a captivating jazz composition that showcases their collective expertise. The soon to be legend Scruscru jumps in and adds a fresh twist to the mix. Leiba takes the compilation in a different direction, skillfully creating a jazz-infused havoc using samples. Classonix offers a funky groove seasoned with synthesizer melodies in the track "Retro Hall," while Akrill rocks the bass with breakbeat percussion, injecting energy into the mix. Pasha S, brings a sunny vibe with "Wat U Gonna Do," perfect for a leisurely stroll. Finally, the trip ends with a classic house track by the up and coming Whitley Tlee, encompassing a variety of elements that makes us jump from our work chairs.
