Dou mais uma vez o espaço do Sótão para A Tribe Called Quest.. O último álbum reavivou-me o amor que lhes guardo. Viajo até 1993, para ouvir o diálogo entre Q-Tip e Phife Dawg em "Check The Rime", retirado do álbum "The Low End Theory". Na primeira aparição televisiva de sempre, dizer que ATCQ "partiram a loiça toda" é pouco. No saudoso programa de Letterman, no dia 28/01/93 , a conversa começou assim:

Phife: And me the five footer. I kicks the mad style so step off the frankfurter.

Q-Tip: Yo, Phife, you remember that routine that we used to make spiffy like Mr. Clean?

Phife: Umm, umm, a tidbit, umm, a smidgen. I don't get the message so you gots to run the pigeon.

Q-Tip: You on point, Band?

Band: All the time!

Descontinuei os throwbacks por algum tempo, falha minha. Metade do meu tempo é passado nos anos 90' do hip hop. Essas raízes têm te de ter um output aqui. ✌
