v.a.: tres
In celebration of three years of sonic exploration, Aterral proudly unveils TRES, an exhilarating V.A. compilation featuring some of their favourite artists. With a commitment to a whole-hearted approach to house music, TRES is a 10-track collection that encapsulates the values Aterral has been championing. This anniversary release introduces listeners to a diverse array of sounds, showcasing the talent and innovation that defines the label.
The compilation spans a spectrum of styles, from Tour-Maubourg's cut-throat dynamism on “Destination” to Caleb Jackson's unapologetically sexy “Party Plasma”. Max Living brings intricately contemplative vibes with “Do You Need Me”, while Naajet contributes an explosive track titled “Start to Move”. Aterral welcomes back familiar faces, including Ruff Stuff with his infectious energy on “Rubber Ear”, Black Loops delivering an intensely nostalgic “I'm Not Crying, You Are”, and the duo Baloo and Carlo (label-head) presenting a ruthlessly minimal “Maracuja”. Denaila adds a tech-savvy workout with “The Art In The Morning”, Nephews infuses sample-saturated brilliance with “Slingshot”, and Emanuele Barilli tantalizes with “Du Bist Dub”. TRES fosters this very interesting and diverse community of artists and sonic explorations. Available on Bandcamp.
