Launched in 2018, with two EPs, Broken District continues to explore alternative music styles with the third installment of its VA (Various Artists) series. On its 03 edition, the series is composed by six tracks, each one of them produced by different artists. Jus Jam and Momla, the label’s co-founders, return, accompanied by Leon Revol, Setwun, Duktus & ODC Live Band and Turbojazz, expanding Broken District’s territories to jazz & soul-influenced electronic music landscapes.
Once again, there’s a consistency throughout the project, despite being created by different minds. The colors and textures are similar, and the 03 edition flows effortlessly when played from A to Z. By promoting an off-brand mix of eclectic music at the cross-roads of house, modern jazz, funk, and soul, Broken District welcomes a variety of sounds, tempos, and styles. The vinyl came out during March and the digital version will be available soon. Smooth vibes.
