Daniel Casimir has been affirming his own talent as one of the most important and valued in the always bubbling UK jazz scene. We’ve been talking about that scene for years and it seems that the creativity that flows from there is never ending. Boxed In astutely bridges traditional and contemporary jazz forms with enveloping strings, woodwind & brass arrangements, but under its intricate musical surface seeks to confront some necessary hard truths.
