delfonic: delfonic edit pt. ii
Francisco Espregueira
Following the success of the first installment of the Edit series, Delfonic returns to Nómada Records’ tropical latitudes to release Delfonic Edit Pt. II - another homage to the roots of house music. Markus Lindner has been a creative force on the genre, having dropped record after record exploring a blend of disco, afro, funk and boogie for labels such as Toy Tonics, Razor’N’Tape and, of course, the Colombian Nómada. Edit Pt. II is another gold project for the dancefloor.
Composed by four tracks EP, Delfonic Edit Pt. II opens with “Don’t Stop Dancing”, a 70’s fresh dance track with a infectious percussion, strong strings, warm synths and powerful vocals. Marcos Valle “Estrelar” is brilliantly reinterpreted in “Into The Stars”, providing a bolder and heavier version to a classic from Brazil. The B-Side is a homage to the afro funk and dance scene. “Let The Music Take Control” is a 70’s eclectic dance song turned into an infectious deep moment that will make us dance all night long. Last but not least, the release closes with “Into The Galaxy”, an edit of one of the funkiest track ever made by the rare disco rock band “WAR”. Available on vinyl, Delfonic Edit Pt. II brings the energy we need every night.
