felix leifur: the tarleton appreciation club
Francisco Espregueira
Reykjavík, Iceland. Summer of '18. The Tarleton Appreciation Club is aesthetically difficult to describe. It's new. It's fuzzy. Rhythmically addictive with a strange tropical scent on its deep progression. It comes from a moon spinning around a new world. Space-Odyssey-opening-scene-type vibe. We present you Felix Leifur.
Resident Advisor attempts to describe some of what we're trying to say - "This broken house beat is swung so hard it's almost sideways, with a hefty bassline to anchor the groove in place." Under the dutch label Bobby Donny three tracks have been released. The title-one is missing. We eagerly await for the full 4-track EP, coming soon. Damn.
