fradinho: a bright future
Francisco Espregueira
Rui Fradinho has been, for some years, an inevitable name in the broken beat scene. His monthly Eclectic Beats live sets (on vinyl) are an essential stop to find and vibe to the newest releases and unforgettable classic grooves in the bruk, nu-jazz and Latin, African & Brazilian infused genres. Providing high-karat remixes for a variety of artists recently, Fradinho now presents his first EP on the newly created Eclectic Beats Music label, jumping back to 2001 to recapture and release his first electronic track ever made - A Bright Future drops tomorrow.
As a devoted man; to music, to the scene and to generously share his refined taste; Fradinho’s A Bright Future is what was destined to be: pure gold. The original mix explores jazzy, soulful and funky grooves in a syncopated beat structure. Latin and Brazilian infused percussive elements and an engaging, funky bass line pave the way for those jazzy keys and cosmic synth licks coming our way. The six track EP is completed by five precious remixes from some of the best artists in the scene and other producers to explore. Afronaut (Bugz In The Attic) with Mark de Clive-Lowe on keys, Born74, Szajna, LSK, Karmasound (with an unbelievable house remix) are a dream-team. Via Eclectic Beats Music, A Bright Future is available in digital formats and in vinyl, for the collectors. Huge appreciation for Fradinho’s output over the years - no shortcuts. Music is Love. Music is Life.
