For the past few years Alexandre Valard & Lucas Moinet have been cementing the Groove Boys Project duo as one of the most exciting acts in Europe. Driven by the quality of their releases so far, on labels such as Groovin Recordings and Amsem, together with some legendary all night sets in clubs like Djoon, everything they do is under our close watch. The Manhattan Soul EP sees them joining the Theory Of Swing roster, dropping its 7th release, and respect the imprint’s concept of “bringing back that magic feel“.
Written and produced in the Parisian "Studio 937" and mastered by label-head St. David, The Manhattan Soul EP is composed by four tracks that are truthful to the deep devotion Alexandre and Lucas have towards 90’s house sound. The french duo invites some of their mates Rawaï and Dusty Fingers to help deliver that tasty and textured NY house waves. Dance grooves, as you can expect.
