Following up on a young but magnificient discography, both individually and as an integral member of the 30/70 Collective, Horatio Luna presents high-karat-gold grooves in his latest project: Support Your Local Jazzy House Producer. The Australian multi-genre bass guitarist, producer and composer based in Naarm, Victoria, delivers a ten-track jam of eclectic textures and dancefloor-paced rhythms, crossing the bridge between deep house and jazz music.
Support Your Local Jazzy House Producer is a natural successor of Boom Boom and Yes Doctor (both released in 2020) and represents a deeper dive into afro-american deep house influences. Luna’s infectious basslines, easily recognizable for the ones who are familiar with his work, snake through high-class sonic choices. The intentional blend of rawness and refined sounds is very well expressed across the entire work, leaving us with one of our favorite records of the year. Available on Bandcamp, via Wooo!
