Released this week, Idan Hana’s Landscapes EP is a five track masterpiece that drops after a number of high-quality works from the LA producer. We’re listening to a producer at the top of his game, never short of deep and immersive soundscapes to invites us to. The EP marks his return to the Dirt Crew Recordings imprint, following Galaxy EP which was released last year. Once again Idan Hana dives into 90s deep house tones while combining modern and classic sounds, fusing both jazz and electronic paradigms in his sound.
Opening up with “Mountain Peaks”, inspired by the vibrant energy of Italo disco, Landscapes EP progresses to the organic grooves of “Hidden Forest”. “Rolling Hills” is an outer-space trip that conveys a catchy patterns and futuristic-electro elements, and “Panorama” sets the tone for the final stage of the record, combining elements of electro, soulful chords, and an overall sense of fun. The cinematic “Ma Kore” closes the EP, encapsulating a unique and mesmerizing melody and allowing listeners to immerse themselves in a world of pure musical expression.
