Bob Hill is the man in charge of taking us into the golden archives of the Italian label A.MA Records. Hill has been hosting the Illicit Grooves Radio Show on Totally Wired Radio and he describes going through those archives as “like being given the password to Aladdin's Cave or the map into Tutankhamen's tomb”. The first chapter of this exciting series of compilations, Inside A.MA Volume 1, reflects how Hill playlists his choices for the show or a DJ set, this time pointing the light to the treasures held within the A.MA vaults of releases over the past decade.
Inside A.MA Volume 1 takes us into a trip through some of the A.MA Records’ best: from the dancefloor funk-jazz of The Motion Collective to the drum and bass infused liquid of Antonio Trinchera and Francesca Sortino's magnificent mid-tempo, two-step rework of Little Sunflower just as examples.
