Key Elements self-titled debut album drops from Berlin with the Sonar Kollektiv quality stamp, transporting us to a combination of elements from hip hop, trip-hop and soul music into eight tracks of modern, fresh jazz. Led by DJ and producer Marian Tone, the album was initially designed to be a mere solo project. Waldi, on drums, and Jim Dunloop, on keys and bass, join in, giving Key Elements an invaluable human touch.

Breathing inspiration from the young, thriving British jazz scene, with clear influences of Tone’s musical background and taste, the three musicians deliver one luscious track after the other.
