knowsum & wun two: dream cruise

Monday vibes in here, with Knowsum and Wun Two cooperating smoothly in their new joint project: Dream Cruise. Released by Sichtexot, this is another demonstration of their ‘galactic’ explorations of sound, able to lift our moods throughout 20 short tracks (or skecthes) filled with cosmic feelings. Both ‘supernovalovers’, Knowsum and Wun Two went their way searching the unknown cosmos for the long-lost good parts of life. Who stole their dreams?
Dream Cruise is funky, carrying, soothing and optimistic in its spirit. In 2021 both Knowsum and Wun Two are masters in their craft, producing surprising soundscapes that might raise some eyebrows at first. The sound of the two german beatmakers take us through the orbit at zero gravity and pauses space and time for everybody. Complete planets last bouncing up and down in a trance-like state, guided by the rhythmic navigation-unit of our heros’ creaking ship, in a place where every further spoken word becomes a bit unnecessary. In fact, their mixture of hip hop, wave and jazz is very unique and Dream Cruise encapsulates that - affirming these producers as two interstellar crown princes. Having dropped last friday on Bandcamp, this is an unmissable cosmic sound-adventure curated by Sichtexot.
