Released last week, Avenues is a sublime EP from the Melbourne-based talent Loure, suppliyng a deep & classy project full of jazz influenced instrumentation, with live session musicians. In four tracks, beats range from warm house to breakbeat, containing soulful vocals and keys, big funk basslines and smooth drums. Everything kind of ascends in space, while the EP grows, track-by-track.
The first release of 2019 from SLOTHBOOGIE, one of London’s most highly respected underground electronic music crews, Avenues EP is the natural sequence to the producer’s work of the last few years.
