november '18: recap
Francisco Espregueira
A cold November went by under the hundreds of warm sounds that trembled through our walls. Picking the best photographs after a month’s hiatus, we also carefully selected 70 tracks reviewing the best we've showcased in here during this month.
A woman voice’s breezed through here. It could’ve been Fatima, Kali, Georgia, Maïa. We felled in love every time. After that, the rhythms changed. The jazz broke out with drums, horns, melodic keys. It could’ve been Makaya, Deodato, Maisha, Alfa, Kamaal… We vibed every time. And the beats broke. Ben, Moireé, Kaidi, movin’ bruk. But in the meanwhile it was a dark night to pass by without rhymes and lower rhythms. Dim lights on 70 tracks.
Now we roll in a red wine decadence with Pinty.
