seb wildblood: sketches of transition
Francisco Espregueira
Seb Wildblood returns with his tender, distinctive brand of jazz infused soul, reaching within himself to produce a deeply-personal LP, released through all my thoughts. sketches of transition is an introspective take on house, ambient and indie from one of the most intriguing producers out there. The album’s name sounds perfect as it plays… like overlooking the pysche of people looking for personal definition - people in transition. It’s melancholic and deep. Nonetheless, there’s light to be found on outcomes such as this one.
This 10-track project comes off the back of the London artist's Grab The Wheel EP, which marked a transition in Seb Wildblood’s discography. On sketches of transition, the producer explores a variety of sonic influences, tight together by similar and consistent themes. It’s a project we can escape to, and slow down all those wheels that keep on turning. There will not be too many vinyl editions around of this one. Don’t sleep.
