With three EP’s edited in the space of just one month, Stefan Ringer (a.k.a. REKchampa) is in top form on his label FWM Entertainment. Following the exciting work included in RAW GAMMA, in partnership with 10th Letter, and FWM 003, Expressions might be one of the best dance EP’s of the year, created in close collaboration with Ash Lauryn whom vocals provide a hypnotic, addicting mumble for us to follow.
We’ve been exploring Ringer’s discography for some time and we have to place him as one of the most exciting up-and-coming names in house music. His trademark jagged and crunchy rhythm section is topped with honey-drenched synths, packed with personality and emotion. Expressions, alongside Ringer’s recent output, showcase an artist at the top of his inventive skills and is quite possibly the Atlanta native’s most well rounded work yet.
