Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist Tamil Rogeon is back with a new two-track teaser from his upcoming album, Wave Theory on Impressive Collective and BBE Music. Following the success Son Of Nyx (Soul Bank Music, 2021), Rogeon continues to pull in elements, instincts and grooves from jazz, classical, and electronic music.
"Gift Of The Gab" and "Ascend It" offer a glimpse into the innovative sound concept established on Son Of Nyx. Both tracks showcase Rogeon's ability to seamlessly blend genres, creating a hypnotic and infectious groove. "Gift Of The Gab" features a funky bassline and syncopated percussion, while "Ascend It" explodes with a punchy funk groove and a captivating violin solo.
