Originally released in 2017, Casa from Tiago Frúgoli’s Ensemble crosses borders to reach a wider, and deserved, audience through Fresh Selects. The album is the most spontaneous work of his discography, composed around the concept of home (Casa in portuguese) and the music that flows effortlessly from there, with musicians involved in the same rhythms.
Deeply inspired by the jazz of the late 60's and early 70's, crafting the melodies on electric pianos, with a talented ensemble harmoniously respecting all the moments, Tiago Frúgoli leads the way throughout the eight tracks that compose Casa. The rhythms change, sometimes taking us to the breezes of the southern hemisphere. Despite that, the album never looses its consistency and its aesthetic feeling. Casa is available in digital formats and in CD.
