Vibrant waves in Wipe The Needle's latest EP, Hornsey Ride, released on Boogie Cafe Records. The UK-based producer is building an impressive discography, having release on renowned labels like Defected and Local Talk. As per usual, his latest offering brings fresh and eclectic funky textures, presenting three exceptional tracks of broken beat goodness, featuring his trademark rhythms. Two outstanding vocal collabs, by Ed Ramsey and Stand Smith, add a extra layer of emotion to the record, rounding up an energetic release.
The EP's title track, “Hornsey Rise”, takes us on a mesmerizing journey through a broken beat landscape, adorned with trippy synth stabs and infectious percussion.
