clever austin: pareidolia

Co-producing the influential Hiatus Kaiyote collective, Clever Austin (born Perrin Moss) has his debut album released through Touching Bass. Pareidolia is a genre-bending sonic and emotive trip with virtuosic, percussive groove at its core. At night, in his home studio, Clever Austin dreamed and created an avant-gard project that crosses bridges through various styles and dreams. 16 tracks, all mixed and self-produced over a period of two years, that slowly unravel with a cinematic feeling attached to them.

Guest appearances are spontaneous, late night drop-ins, cross town musical crossovers and moments of respect paid to established and emerging innovators. Jon Bap delivers a magnificent performance on first single “Blue Tongue”. Georgia Anne Muldrow, Cazeusx O.S.L.O’s, Laneous also contribute with voice elements to the dreamy ambiance that is created.
