earl jeffers: higher
Francisco Espregueira
We missed new stuff from Earl Jeffers. The british producer is one of those that is deeply appreciated by his top peers, due to a classy and deep approach to his music - frequently bringing collaborators in, such as Henry Wu, K15, Byron The Aquarius or Darkhouse Family. This time around, returning to his own imprint MELANGE Records, Jeffers presents Higher and is joined by one of U.K's finest. Mr Kaidi Tatham features on flute and guitar duties.
Composed by two originals and an alternative version of the title-track, Higher is a true club record. As per usual in Jeffers’ discography, the textures are sophisticated, groovy and work equally well outside the dancefloor. Available on vinyl, this is collection material, cementing Jeffers’ name as one of the classiest producers out there. The artwork is done by frequent collaborator and good friend, Ral Duke.
