NBN Archives gets back to its reissue series to present us the debut and sole LP from Bay Area hip hop group i.f.A (International Family Affair), originally released by Rollin’ Record Enterprises in 1997. Led by slick productions by Derrick Shaw and Ivan Johnson, with D-SHOOT, G.F., BIAS and SOS on the lyrics, International Family Affair blends versatile rap with old school funk and R&B vibes indebted to West Coast G-Funk - delivering unique laid-back/bumping rhythms and “that something” for the ladies.

i.f.A. (always referring to themselves as a family and not a band) is inspired by their never-forgotten street edge, their spirituality and their desire to share the music they make with each other. With roots in and around Oakland, East Palo Alto and Stockton, California, it was only a matter of time before these musical minds would meet to form their own "Family Affair". International Family Affair is the second golden reissue by the Nothing But Net imprint, following 108’s Mission Infinite, now available in a variety of formats - vinyl, cassette, CD and digital.
