moonee: wabi sabi ep

Hailing from Paris, Groovence label head Moonee (real name François Lefevre) dropped the mesmerizing Wabi Sabi EP yesterday. This is his debut EP, following some top shelf contributions with Sweely and on his own label, with the track “Faith & Sorrow”. Wabi Sabi EP is yet another pandemic release, being composed at home between 2019 and 2020, as time was flying during the first lockdown.
With most daily constraints gone, Moonee had time to plug in his MPCs and finish this series of five tracks that blend contemporary and classic deep house with oriental motifs. Wabi Sabi also draws inspiration from artists such as Mr.G, DJ Q, Linkwood or Theo Parrish, providing a real immersive experience for the listeners. Available on vinyl, via Groovence Records, this project is on point - an impressive debut EP from a producer that we want to know more about.
