The fifth installment of Nómada Records’ White series features uprising producers SofaTalk (Italy) and Last Nubian (England). After four previous successful White Series EP’s, that brought us Karmasound, John Tareugram, Mangabey or Felipe Gordon, and the repress of its first EDIT SERIES leaded by German chief Delfonic, the Colombian label is ready to kickoff 2021 in style. White Pt. V is a groovy six track affair, with SofaTalk and Last Nubian delivering three originals tracks each.
Sofa Talk and Last Nubian have both released music on reputable labels such as ANMA, YAM, Cognitiva, Flat White Recordings or Moment Cinetique, showcasing their constant evolution and creativity in two different lanes of jazzy electronic music that somehow connect very well. Nomada’s White Pt. V starts with the Italian producer, blowing our minds with three broken beats and jazz infused masterpieces where he joined forces with Singer INBAL and keyboardist Veezo. On the B Side, Last Nubian makes his return to the label with three impressive soulful deep cuts, that have the help of Dougan “Farewell Boogie” and Sweet Fruity Brunch on “Brown Be My Caller”. Ending May, this EP is just making our club-cravings even more unbearable. The White Series lives on and it’s available on vinyl, via Nómada Records - staying strong and united with the Colombian people.
