tom noble presents: house of spirits

Francisco Espregueira

Tom Noble, a seasoned DJ, record collector, and label owner, has unveiled his long-awaited debut album, House of Spirits via Razor’N’Tape. This 15-year labor of love is the type of project we relate - Noble's dedication to crafting soulful and timeless music transpires through every track of this magnificent, dancefloor-oriented piece. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of disco and funk, he has created a collection of tracks that blend classic sounds with modern production techniques.

The album's origins can be traced back to 2007, when Noble began collaborating with the talented musicians of Orgone. Together, they created a series of demos that would eventually form the foundation of the record. Throughout the years, Noble continued to refine and develop the project, adding new tracks and collaborating with other artists. House of Spirits is, traversing the time it took to make, its past and outlook for the future, a journey through various musical styles, from upbeat and danceable tracks to more introspective and soulful moments - eight tracks tracks that showcase Noble's ability to blend genres and create a unique sound.

With its lush instrumentation, catchy melodies, and infectious grooves, House of Spirits is a must-listen for fans of soulful house music. Tom Noble's passion for music shines through in every track, which helps making this album a special piece in every collection. Available on vinyl, courtesy of Razor’N’Tape.
