Oslo-based duo Why Kai, comprised of composer Kai von der Lippe and drummer Elias Tafjord, unveil their debut album Tourist on Boomboy Records. This release follows their acclaimed 2021 EP Deep Fishing and showcases their signature blend of electronica, jazz, and chamber music.
Tourist was created with the intention of working as a soundtrack to explore new places, mirroring the experience of being a tourist. Acoustic and electronic elements interweave with evocative field recordings, transporting the listener through bustling streets and hidden corners.
